Delivery is exciting, but it is also a moment to organise information. A prepared checklist helps you enjoy the arrival without remembering every detail amid trucks and installation work.

Before unpacking

Check that the unit and accessories match the order. Record visible condition and protective packaging through the agreed procedure. Establish whom to notify about damage and how to record an issue during handover.

Stay away from suspended loads and manoeuvring zones. Buyer checks should take place only when the responsible team confirms it is safe.

Once the home is placed

The installer and professional should verify the matters within their roles: supports, levelling, anchors and connections. As a buyer, review layout, finishes, inventory and documents without replacing technical verification.

Separate “received” from “tested”. Visible wiring does not demonstrate correct operation; a fitted tap does not prove a satisfactory connection. Ask which tests will be completed on site and how you will receive results.

Finish with an outstanding-items list

Record each issue, responsible party and next step. Keep manuals, equipment identifiers and after-sales contacts. Check the meaning of any document you sign against your agreement; delivery documents do not all have identical scope.

Required checks and authorisations must be resolved before occupation. Unloading a unit does not by itself amount to commissioning it.

Sources and editorial scope

Primary sources consulted on 3 October 2026. The practical checklists are CasasCápsula editorial guidance, not official inspection protocols. Project requirements must be assessed for the actual location and use. Manufacturer information describes its own offer; it is not a universal rule.
