Searching for timber homes in Spain can lead to a structural system, a manufactured envelope or a complete home. We bring together ten manufacturers and companies offering solutions for this market to compare these differences. Not all manufacture in Spain or deliver turnkey homes: each company’s role and scope matter more than a commercial ranking.
Method: official pages opened and reviewed on 18 October 2026. Product descriptions are supplier statements, not performance audited by CasasCápsula. Comparison questions are our editorial analysis. Companies have not been contacted and their photographs have not been reused.
Companies and the scope of their offer
| Company | Public offer | Question to ask |
|---|---|---|
| Egoin | Offers industrialised timber construction and CLT, glulam and timber-frame technologies. | Request a specific engineering, supply and assembly scope. |
| ARQUIMA | Describes manufacture and assembly of bespoke timber systems. | Specify the envelope package and excluded work. |
| House Habitat | Describes timber-structure homes with a low-energy design approach. | Distinguish design principles from project-specific certification. |
| Fustes Sebastià | Publishes housing solutions using CLT and light timber frame. It is a reference for studying the timber system while distinguishing structural manufacture from delivery of a complete home. | Which engineering, panels, assembly and envelope layers are contracted, and what is excluded? |
| Woodville | Describes industrialised timber construction and a process connecting design, development, manufacture and installation. The useful comparison is the signed scope for your project, not just the appearance of a model. | Which stages does it perform directly, and which depend on contractors, foundations and site services? |
| Madergia | Explains engineering, production preparation, manufacture and assembly of timber structures. Its structural specialism can be useful to architects and contractors; we do not present it as a universal turnkey-home catalogue. | Who integrates the structure with the façade, services and finishes, and takes responsibility for those interfaces? |
| Hobycasa | Describes technical work and manufacture of timber solutions, with facilities in Vitoria. Its catalogue covers different uses: a garden building should not be assumed to be a home, nor every model to share the same origin. | Where is the specific model manufactured, and which documentation and assembly match the proposed residential use? |
| Norges Hus España | Its offer distinguishes a factory package from a finished home. An official page locates production in Perila, Estonia: inclusion in a selection for Spain does not imply Spanish manufacture. | What is included in the package, and who contracts the remaining work needed before lawful occupancy? |
| Tallfusta | Publishes timber-structure solutions and machining, including design, manufacture and assembly. This supports comparison of a specialist supply package; the structural package alone is not a complete-home contract. | Where does the specialist’s scope end, and who handles weatherproofing, services and site coordination? |
| Tokamadera | Presents light timber-frame homes, standard models and custom projects. It describes enquiry, permit, manufacture, transport and assembly stages; the contract should assign responsibilities and deliverables to each. | What construction specification and delivery scope will your home have, and which documents support its particular performance? |

The material does not define the contract
A timber structure may arrive as panels or prepared elements without all envelope work, services or finishes. It may also form part of a wider housing contract. Before requesting a price, describe what you expect to receive and who coordinates the other parties. Industrial supplier and contractor may be the same company or different entities; the quotation should make this clear.
CLT and timber frame: request the project solution
Egoin lists several technologies, while House Habitat describes frame, CLT and hybrid approaches. This variety calls for a project-specific proposal rather than choosing an acronym. Compare scope, substantiated performance and assembly coordination. We do not assign a universal advantage to a material without comparing projects against the same requirements.
An efficient home needs its own documentation
Marketing pages may describe passive houses, sustainability or low consumption. Request the project performance specification and supporting documents. Where certification is offered, ask what is certified, by whom and which deliverable is contracted. This guide does not assume every home from a brand is certified on the basis of a general website statement.
The brief I would send each candidate
- Country, municipality and actual project location; plot status and access.
- Use, area and unit count, using the same brief for all suppliers.
- Delivery scope: design, production, transport, assembly, services and finishes.
- Dated price, currency, taxes, exclusions and responsible parties.
- System documents and after-sales coverage for the proposed location.
Which option is cheapest?
This research cannot rank final costs. Comparable project-specific quotations are still needed. A structural package, kit and finished home cannot be compared by advertised amount alone. The useful next step is to request quotes with the same scope rather than turn incomplete commercial information into a price ranking.
